there goes the nation (not really)

We have a new Supreame Court Cheif Justice, his name is John Roberts. I'm not to worried about him anymore, yet I will not take back any previous coments. I think he will not inpact judical review as much as everyone thought (and some hoped). I still think he favors the corporation, the christan, and the everything in that nature, yet his affect will not be a great as say the presidents can. So i say the best thing democrats can do now is get in the white house!

Powers Out

so the power went out at my school today, so I drove all the way there (1 mile), just to find that there is no school. what a great feeling, to go to school and have it be closed. the parking dude said the power was out, but no one really care about why it was closed as long as it was.

Nasa and Google? How Random...

USA Space Agency NASA has teamed up with the Web king Google to develop technology in the I.T. and Data Management, and nano-technology fields. Though this may sound greedy of Google at first, there is not a big profit win from this, it just plain developing technology for our space program which in turn benefits the American public by increasing space exploration and experiments which can lead to advancement in medicine, transportation and more. Plus google might face taxes even though its new reaserch center is on fedral land. And because Google's services are all free now, it's safe to say they will stay that way for awhile.

My Democratic Loyalty!

Your score is 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. You are a pure, unabashed, die-hard Democratic loyalist. You are appalled by the way Republicans are turning America into a theocratic, corpo-fascist police state, and you'd gladly walk through a furnace in a gasoline suit to elect a Democratic president. In your view, there is no higher form of patriotism than defending America against the Republican Party and every intolerant, puritanical, imperialistic, greed-mongering, Constitution-shredding ideal for which it stands.

GOP changes there mind, again.

The Republicans finaly "abandon their reckless privatization plan.” And is it because it is just plain stupid? No, it's because they are afraid that they won't win the election in 2008, which they won't. The youth of America should rejoice, for now. Our Social Security is once again Secure, for now. No more extreamist republican privatization ideas will come out of Washington, for now. Actually, I can look at this as a bad thing as well as a good thing. Republicans have just enough sense to drop there idiotic plan or else risk there election. No that they have it just makes there polls stay and not drop, which would be favorable. Bush's approval rating has been below %50 for who knows how long, and I just complimenting the Republicans for being a little less of doo doo's.

A Small Victory in New England

Massachusetts’s legislature rejects a state constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage. This is a small victory for progressivism and I hope more continue. It seems hard to believe that Republicans are against giving the right of marriage to homosexuals. I simply to not understand how it infringes on their rights in any way, some extremist right-wingers are even proposing an amendment to ban both gay marriage and civil unions. Come on! This is just plain hatred, and should not be tolerated in a modern free society. But are we really free? Progressives are fighting to make our country a real free nation. What ever happened to the pursuit of happiness?
